Fluzar actively commits to fighting climate change through the Stripe Climate program
Fluzar recognizes the urgency of the climate crisis and commits to doing its part. Through our sustainability program, we actively contribute to carbon removal from the atmosphere, supporting innovative technologies for a cleaner future.
Fluzar has implemented the Stripe Climate program that allows you to allocate a percentage of your subscription towards carbon removal.
If your subscription costs €59.99 and you have a 5% commitment, Stripe will add €3 as a climate contribution.
All contributions flow into the Stripe Climate fund, used exclusively for carbon removal efforts. No funds are used for Stripe or Fluzar business costs.
Here are some of the main carbon removal companies that receive funding from Stripe Climate through Frontier. These companies are recognized for their innovative approaches to permanent carbon removal.
Swiss leader in Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology
Climeworks builds modular machines that extract CO₂ directly from the air and store it underground for thousands of years, often through mineralization with their partner Carbfix. Their most notable facilities include Orca and Mammoth, the world's largest DAC plants, located in Iceland.
Innovator in bio-oil sequestration
Charm Industrial converts biomass into carbon-rich bio-oil and injects it into underground geological deposits, ensuring permanent removal. This method captures carbon naturally absorbed by plants and keeps it safely in underground reservoirs.
Modular BiCRS systems that combine gasifiers and turbines to convert biomass into energy and permanently sequester CO₂
Improves weathering by applying crushed basalt to agricultural lands to accelerate CO₂ absorption into stable minerals
Modular DAC machines that use solid sorbents to capture CO₂ and release it when heated, with captured gas stored underground
Uses geological mineralization by injecting CO₂ into peridotite rock where it is chemically transformed into stable minerals
Builds a geochemical DAC system using abundant mineral sorbents in a fluidized bed reactor.
Applies alkaline industrial byproducts as carbon-removing gravel on roads, enabling measurable and permanent CO₂ storage
Fluzar receives detailed quarterly reports from Stripe showing where all our customers' climate contributions go. Every 3 months we receive a complete impact report that includes the total contributed, which projects were funded, and the status/results of those projects. We will be happy to personally inform you via email about the progress and impact of your climate contribution.
Fluzar constantly monitors all climate contributions through the Stripe dashboard. In our financial reports, all climate contributions appear as a distinct line item ("Climate Contributions"). We will keep you regularly updated on the progress and impact of your contribution through personalized communications.
Every subscription on Fluzar can contribute to a more sustainable future. Together we can make a difference in the fight against climate change.
